Abstract:Objective: To analyze the clinical effect of acupuncture combined with nerve growth factor in the treatment of cerebral palsy. Methods: The developmental quotient (DQ), gross motor function scale (GMFM) and effective rate were investigated and analyzed in 500 children with cerebral palsy who received acupuncture and nerve growth factor acupoint injection before and after treatment and 3 months of follow-up. Results: DQ after treatment and follow-up and GMFM after treatment were significantly improved compared with those before treatment (P<0.05). The clinical efficacy of gestational age <32W group was lower than that of gestational age <37W and full-term infants (P<0.001). The clinical efficacy of age <1Y group was higher than that of <3Y group and> 3Y group (P<0.01). Conclusion: Acupuncture combined with nerve growth factor can improve the language, motor and cognitive function of children with cerebral palsy, and promote the reconstruction of neurological function; the younger the age of rehabilitation treatment, the more obvious the curative effect; the smaller the gestational age, the more severe the degree of motor dysfunction, the worse the curative effect.
