Abstract: Goldtein 1966 reported the preliminary purification of bioactive thymosin from calf thymus, and improved the extraction method in 1975 to produce calf thymosin F ₅. In the future, 26 kinds of thymus hormones were extracted from the thymus of calf, pig and other animals, some of which have been used in clinical treatment. There are few studies on thymosin extracted from human fetal thymus. The purpose of this paper is to explore the extraction of thymosin from fetal thymus tissue and study its physical and chemical properties.
