From January 1989 to October 1991, fetal LAK cells were prepared by co-culture of fetal spleen cells and interleukin-2 (IL-2) for 3 days at the age of 6 to 7 months, and 18 cases of advanced liver cancer were treated by intravenous infusion or hepatic artery infusion. Results Pain relief in 16 cases, accounting for 88.9%; appetite increased in 14 cases, accounting for 77%; clinical complete remission in 2 cases, accounting for 11%; partial remission in 14 cases, accounting for 77%; total effective rate was 88.9%(16/18). And after LAK cell therapy in patients with peripheral blood OKT4Rates elevated, OKT8The ratio decreased, indicating that the patient's immune function has improved after treatment. The results suggest that: ① the fetal spleen contains abundant LAK precursor cells; ② the fetal LAK cells have obvious curative effect in the treatment of advanced liver cancer.
