This paper reports the clinical value of serum reaction of cancer antigen (CA125) radioimmunoassay in 50 patients with benign and malignant ovarian tumors and normal women: in 20 patients with malignant ovarian tumors, the positive rate was 75%(15/20) with ≤ 35U/ml as the normal value; If ≤ 65U/ml is the normal value, the positive rate is 60%(12/20). In 16 cases of benign ovarian tumors, the positive rate was 31%(5/16) with ≤ 35U/ml as the normal value, and 6%(1/16) with ≤ 65U/ml as the normal value. The positive rate of CA125> 35U/ml in 14 normal women was 14%(2/14), but no case> 65U/ml. The results show that CA125 radioimmunoassay has some significance in the diagnosis of ovarian malignant tumors.
