Abstract:Background and Objective To investigate the effect and mechanism of breast milk stone decoction on the immune function of patients with breast cancer. Methods Flow cytometry was used to detect the absolute values of T cells, B cells and NK cells in the blood of the two groups of patients before and after chemotherapy, and the expression levels of CD83, CD80 and CD86 in cancer tissues and draining lymph nodes. Results The total T, Th, Ts, NK, B cells and the levels of CD83, CD80 and CD86 in cancer tissue and axillary lymph nodes in the control group after chemotherapy were significantly lower than those before chemotherapy (P<0.05). There was no significant difference in the total T, Th, Ts, NK, B cell count and the levels of CD83, CD80 and CD86 in cancer tissue and axillary lymph node cells before and after chemotherapy in the treatment group (P>0.05). Conclusion The tumor itself and chemotherapy have adverse effects on the immune function of the body, and the milk stone decoction can help repair the immune injury of the body. The mechanism may be related to the activation of dendritic cell function and up-regulation of costimulatory molecules.
