Clinical study of Fuzhengpei method combined with chemotherapy in the treatment of breast cancer

Abstract: Objective: To study the effect of Fuzhengpei method on the cellular immune status of breast cancer patients after chemotherapy. Methods: 58 patients with breast cancer were treated with CAF regimen chemotherapy combined with Fuzhengpeiben method, and the changes of quality of life, toxicity, absolute value of peripheral blood lymphocytes and killing activity of mononuclear cells before and after treatment were compared. Results: The improvement rate of quality of life in the Chinese medicine plus chemotherapy group and the chemotherapy group were 34.5 and 13.5 respectively. The absolute values of white blood cells, platelets, lymphocytes and peripheral blood mononuclear cells in the Chinese medicine plus chemotherapy group were reduced and the killing activity of peripheral blood mononuclear cells on different breast cancer cells was reduced, and the recovery was rapid. Conclusion: Fuzhengpeiben method combined with chemotherapy in the treatment of breast cancer can reduce the adverse reactions of chemotherapy, improve clinical symptoms, improve the quality of life and improve immune function.
