Abstract: Immunotherapy of tumor has developed rapidly in recent years, and improving the immunogenicity of tumor and preparing efficient tumor vaccines have become a hot spot in immunotherapy. The most effective vaccine must be able to activate both CD4 T cells and CD8 T cells, so it is more meaningful to use a combination of MHC-class I and MHC-class II tumor antigens to prepare a tumor vaccine. This article reviews the immunological basis of tumor immunotherapy, tumor vaccines and the current status and progress of dendritic cell-based immunotherapy.
