Abstract:Objective: To investigate the clinical efficacy and safety of healthy human CIK cells in the treatment of advanced breast cancer. Methods: CIK cells were prepared from peripheral blood mononuclear cells from 10 patients with advanced breast cancer and 12 healthy people, and their proliferation rate, CD3CD56 labeling rate and killing activity were analyzed respectively. 30-35 × 108 of CIK cells from healthy people with qualified quality test were added into 100-150ml of normal saline, and intravenous infusion was given to patients once a day for 6 consecutive days. Results: The proliferation speed, CD3CD56 labeling rate and killing activity of CIK cells from healthy people were significantly better than those from breast cancer patients (p<0.01). A total of 10 cases of advanced breast cancer were treated, including 3 cases under 60 years old, 7 cases over 60 years old, 6 cases of invasive ductal carcinoma, 2 cases of invasive lobular carcinoma, 2 cases of unknown. regular There were 9 cases of recurrence and metastasis after treatment and 1 case after regular treatment. There were 2 cases of simple axillary and supraclavicular lymph node metastasis, and 8 cases of multiple metastases in lung, liver and bone. At the same time with brain metastasis in 2 cases. Efficacy evaluation: CR:9 cases (90%),PR:1 case (10%), the effective rate was 100. All 10 patients were followed up successfully. 1 case survived for more than 1 year; 1 case survived for more than 3 years; 4 cases survived for more than 5 years without tumor; 4 cases survived for 2-4 years without tumor (it is still under treatment, and the long-term curative effect is under observation). Discussion: In this paper, the clinical efficacy of the healthy human CIK cell therapy group was significantly better than the efficacy of autologous CIK cells reported. The reason may be:(1) healthy human CIK cells...More
